Violin

Larysa is a highly experienced violin instructor with over 40 years of teaching expertise. A graduate of the S. Prokofiev Conservatory of Music in Donetsk, Ukraine, Larysa has dedicated her career to developing skilled and confident musicians. Since beginning her teaching journey in 1983, she has helped students of all ages and levels master the violin and deepen their appreciation for music.

Larysa’s teaching philosophy emphasizes strong fundamentals, including posture, intonation, and sound quality. She believes in tailoring her approach to the unique needs of each student, fostering both technical proficiency and a genuine connection to music. Her methods are built on clear goals, constructive feedback, and a focus on measurable progress, while maintaining a positive and motivating atmosphere.

Recognized by the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) for her 19 years of exemplary teaching, Larysa is committed to continuous professional growth and learning. She encourages her students to approach music as an evolving craft, where dedication and practice lead to lifelong improvement and discovery.

Outside of teaching, Larysa has a keen interest in gardening, fashion, and interior design—activities that complement her structured, yet creative approach to music education.
